“Compassion and Suffering” We enjoyed Joan’s “Advent Spirituality Morning” last December, and now she will return to continue our reflection on becoming more compassionate with ourselves and others.  In this way we will continue to welcome and receive God’s wondrous forgiveness and love, especially during this beautiful Season of Lent.

Joan is a trained “Boundless Compassion Facilitator” since 2018 in Sr. Joyce Rupp’s “Boundless Compassion” Program.  She holds a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Moravian Theological Seminary and is a PA Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselor and Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.  She has recently retired from 30+ years of full-time practice.  She is a member of Assumption BVM Parish in Bethlehem, PA.
