For more than 45 years, the Franciscan Friars have welcomed thousands of retreatants to St. Francis Retreat House in Easton, Pennsylvania

Since our humble beginnings, the retreat house has sought to spread the Gospel message of God's love for all people through diverse programs that promote spiritual growth. Countless men and women from the Lehigh Valley and beyond have journeyed to the retreat house to find peace, inspiration and strength.

Through the years, the challenges have been great, but our commitment to make the retreat house a place of prayer, nourishment and renewal and the best retreat facility within the region has remained unchanged. Today, we encourage programs for married couples, preached retreats for men and women, religious sisters, priests' retreats, high school students, seminarians; ecumenical groups, individuals recovering from addiction and religious and parish groups.  We provide a comfortable setting that emphasizes Christian spirituality and welcoming hospitality. Above all, the Franciscan Friars seek to help God's people be all that He calls them to be.

Our success requires many things and we depend upon your ongoing generous financial support in all this!  First, it requires dedicated support from the Franciscan Friars. Fortunately, we have their commitment. Second, it takes retreatants who seek spiritual renewal and nourishment. We have them, too. Finally, we must maintain sound physical facilities, so that our buildings can match the quality of our programs.

We want to keep moving forward, but we need your help. In 2004, we constructed two new wings for the retreat house. One wing features a modern conference facility and lounge with large elevators to all levels.  The other consists of 30 private guest rooms with private baths. In addition, we added some renovations to the existing facility.

Like our patron, St. Francis of Assisi, who at the turn of the 13th century responded to God's call to Repair My House, I invite you today to help us always to begin anew as we strive to serve His people in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.
